Project: Proctor Library in Keriker
Completed: 2011
Brief: Main counter and entry of 80m2 was in K15 coloured floor levelling compound in huge arc around counter with paua shell inserted around perimeter with epoxy finish. The architect did not want any bars between K11 and Burgundy carpet tile border, so Northland Floor Laying ensured the floor finished at the correct height of the carpet. Completed: 2011
Brief: Installed a woven synthetic patterned carpet to accommodation units and also made room sizes mats with edges bound in jute. Used a diamond patterned carpet to the stairs up 3 flights as a runner which we had to pre-cut and edge with 50mm jute making sure it pattern matched all the way up. Supplied and installed bronze stair nosing bars and stair bars which we had to have ‘aged’ to suit the style of building.
